Cologne, 11 January 2010 - Effective 1 January 2010, Winfried Spies is a new Member of the Supervisory Board of OVB Holding AG. He succeeds Jörn Stapelfeld, who resigned his position at the end of the year after he had already left the Generali Deutschland Group in August 2008.
In future, Mr Spies will also assume the function of a Member of the Supervisory Board at the German subsidiary OVB Vermögensberatung AG.
Mr Spies is CEO of Generali Versicherung AG and Generali Lebensversicherung AG as well as a Member of the Management Board and Labour Director of Generali Deutschland Holding AG. Mr Spies, who has initially been appointed legally, will offer himself for a further term in office at the next general meeting of OVB Holding AG on 11 June 2010.
