One of our key social commitments is the OVB relief organisation. With the founding of the OVB relief organisation "Menschen in Not e.V." more than 25 years ago, the employees and management of OVB started to get involved in social work. What first started out small and was limited to the region of Cologne has now developed to become a steadily growing commitment. More than three million euros have since been donated by the OVB relief organisation for non-profit purposes. The financial resources of the OVB relief organisation come exclusively from OVB employees. Employees voluntarily donate the portion of their commission beyond the decimal point. For each individual this is a relatively small sum, but at the bottom line it amounts to a lot of money. Each year, this results in a six-figure sum that can be deployed where the need is the greatest.
